LASIK Vision Correction
Many of our patients are interested in "having their eyes fixed". Unfortunately, it is not as simple as that. A good outcome depends on a number of factors including the surgeon, the method used, the patient's expectations, pupil size, corneal thickness and the patient's presurgical prescription.
Most people are very happy with their post surgery vision but some are not happy at all. There is no reversal surgery once it is done. And there are no guarantees of 20/20.
You need to look at the risks and benefits of this elective eye surgery and see of it is the right choice for you. If you are a good candidate, Dr. Mirkin will arrange a referral to a top LASIK surgeon and then do folllow up care for one year after the surgery.
