We specialize in examining and evaluating children from 3 years of age and up.  Dr Mirkin has a number of special tests for young children and the eye exam can be very different than the exam for an older child or an adult.  Regardless of the age we will treat your child like our own.  About 25% of children have vision problems that are undetected and are diagnosed with reading problems that may not be accurate.
